1 – Tell us a bit about yourself

In everyday life, I work as a manager in a company specializing in stationery and office supplies. Since I was a child, I have always been drawn to the mountains and, over time, this passion has turned into a true love. Whether it’s simple hikes, alpine routes, trail running, mountain biking, via ferratas, or ski mountaineering, what truly matters to me is being in a mountain environment.

2 – What is your favorite outdoor activity?

I love being outdoors! My favorite activities are long ascents on the classic Dolomite routes, via ferratas, and mountain hikes. Recently, I had the chance to climb Monte Rosa with RedElk, and I must say the comfort of their garments was extraordinary. I can’t wait for the next adventure!

3 – What is your favorite place to explore?

My favorite place to explore is the outdoors in general. I don’t have one specific preference: the Dolomite alpine environment is certainly my main reference point, but if I find myself in front of a desert or a forest, I am equally drawn to them. What matters most is that it is far from civilization and as wild as possible!

4 – Why did you decide to become a RedElk Ambassador?

A few years ago, RedElk discovered me on social media and предложed a collaboration. I immediately fell in love with their garments, made with cutting-edge materials and elegant yet vibrant colors. They have become essential in my wardrobe. Moreover, they always ask for feedback on their technical mountain gear, making me feel like a valued collaborator rather than just a promoter. It is an honor to be among their longest-standing ambassadors.

5 – In what way do you feel close to the RedElk philosophy?

As I have expressed in the past, the RedElk philosophy fully reflects who I am, and I completely support it. I fully share their vision, which goes beyond simply producing technical clothing and focuses on sustainability, respect for nature, and rediscovering the well-being that exploration can offer.

In an era often dominated by frenzy and superficiality, I believe RedElk’s approach is a reminder of the importance of returning to our roots, in a sustainable way—not only for the environment around us, but also for ourselves.

I love the rugged peaks of the Dolomites, the scree slopes, and the long alpine valleys. But I also enjoy venturing into forests and trying to navigate by following streams. Wherever I may be, I feel comfortable wearing RedElk, because the brand’s philosophy perfectly aligns with my idea of adventure and my way of experiencing nature.

6 – What is your favorite RedElk item?

My favorite item is definitely the ISALO 3-DP detachable pants. I have been using them for two years, both in spring/autumn and in summer, thanks to the convenience of shortening them in just a few seconds. Excellent material, extremely durable, and fantastic colors. The fit is also great for someone like me who is very tall.

7 – Would you like to share a special memory related to RedElk apparel?

One February morning a few years ago, a dear friend and I tackled the Bureloni couloir at dawn. It was an extremely cold day: -20°C at the Paneveggio parking area, with gusts of wind at altitude exceeding 100 km/h. It was definitely a day to turn back… but we kept going steadily up the couloir until we reached the summit. Frozen feet, frozen hands, a phone that barely managed to take five photos before freezing… yet my body was dry and warm. I’ll reveal the secret: I was wearing RedElk, luckily!

8 – What advice would you give to someone who wants to approach an outdoor sport?

Outdoor sports must be approached step by step. You can’t start at full speed right away: training and awareness of risks are essential. There is no need to rush to achieve major goals; they will come with experience. This rule applies to all sports, but in outdoor disciplines there is always the environmental factor that increases both danger and unpredictability.

9 – What is your next challenge?

Soon I will be traveling to Morocco where, together with four friends, we will cross the Atlas mountain range by bikepacking in complete autonomy, along dirt roads and mountain passes above 2,500 meters, spending nights in tents under the stars and facing cold desert mornings. It will be a true adventure, and for the occasion RedElk will always be with me!
