1 – Tell us a bit about yourself

I am a ski instructor and a mid-mountain guide. Together with my family, I run Hotel Funivia in Bormio, a place that allows me to combine hospitality and my passion for the outdoors, offering guests authentic experiences in close contact with the mountains.

Without a doubt alpine skiing and mountaineering: two disciplines that best represent my way of living the mountains.

The Stelvio National Park, an extraordinary territory that never stops surprising me, season after season.

My RedElk ski outfit features bright colors that make it immediately visible and distinctive; it often happens that people stop me to ask which brand I am wearing, and that flatters me, because on one hand it is an appreciation of my personal taste and on the other it confirms RedElk’s ability to create impactful colors and designs.

8 – What advice would you give to someone who wants to approach an outdoor sport?

I recommend never underestimating weather conditions and always choosing the right clothing: in the mountains, preparation makes the difference.

Getting through the Milan-Cortina Olympics unscathed: between work at the hotel and guiding activities, it will definitely be an intense period.
