1 – Tell us a bit about yourself

I live in the beautiful Aosta Valley and work as a nurse in Switzerland. It is a job that requires energy, dedication, and great mental strength, but also brings immense satisfaction, just like sport. Helping people, taking care of those in need, and making a difference in others’ lives is something truly unique. It is certainly demanding, but the altruism and gratitude I receive make every day special.

2 – What is your favorite outdoor activity?

In winter I love skiing in the Aosta Valley, while in summer I never give up running in the mountains. It is my way of recharging after intense days and finding balance between the fatigue of work and the joy of moving outdoors.

3 – What is your favorite place to explore?

Any place above 3000 meters above sea level, where the only sound I hear is my breathing. I don’t have a single favorite place: I love discovering new spots without forgetting the ones I already know.

4 – Why did you decide to become a RedElk Ambassador?

In 2019 I skied in Vallée Blanche, at the foot of Mont Blanc, together with RedElk ambassadors Luca Polo and Mattia Tresca. On that occasion I also met Luca Colombo, CEO of RedElk, who shared a reflection: in the outdoor world many brands focused only on technical performance, neglecting comfort. And he was absolutely right! I remember many days ruined by stiff or uncomfortable garments. But it was only after accepting to become an ambassador and personally trying RedElk garments that I truly understood the difference. I can say that the claim “Plunge into Nature” is perfect: now I enjoy nature freely, connecting with it and with myself.

5 – In what way do you feel close to the RedElk philosophy?

I feel close to the RedElk philosophy thanks to its green heart and its constant research into innovative and increasingly sustainable materials. In nature, in the mountains, and in life, respect always comes first.

6 – What is your favorite RedElk item?

Without a doubt my SABINE soft-shell jacket. It is my absolute favorite because it is perfect in every season and for any activity: whether skiing, running, or cycling, it is always the right choice.

7 – Would you like to share a special memory related to RedElk apparel?

I have so many special memories connected to RedElk apparel: after many years of wearing it, it has accompanied me through training sessions, races, beautiful adventures, and countless ski days with friends. Every garment has been part of unforgettable moments.

8 – What advice would you give to someone who wants to approach an outdoor sport?

I recommend approaching every route with humility and care: gather proper information, choose suitable clothing, accessories, and shoes, check the weather forecast, and bring what you need for unexpected situations. Never underestimate the activity, especially at the beginning, and always remember to respect both people and the environment.

9 – What is your next challenge?

For me, every day is a challenge, not only in sport but also in everyday life. Trail running perfectly embodies this concept: every mountain run is different, every route presents new obstacles, climbs that test endurance, and descents that require concentration and agility.
