Freeride Vallescrivia is a group of three mountain lovers who practice ski touring and freeride in winter, and switch to mountain biking in summer. As part of the Artesina Freeride Collective project, they discovered the Redelk brand three years ago—and haven’t looked back since! These three Redelk ambassadors have a deep passion for the mountains, and like all outdoor sports enthusiasts, they found the lockdown period challenging. However, they managed to turn it into an opportunity: they decided to produce a documentary, which will be released in autumn 2022. They're using the upcoming winter season to gather even more footage for the film, titled: “Poor but Happy.”

“Poor but Happy tells the story of a group of ski bums in the small mountain town of Artesina, in the province of Cuneo. There’s no shortage of snow or the desire to ski—what’s missing is work, the ski lifts are closed or reserved for professional athletes, and there’s no certainty that we’ll ever see our world as it once was again,” says Enrico Sabbi.
In their documentary, the boys will share how they managed to reinvent themselves during the three winters that left them standing still:
“Three ski seasons during the pandemic—skiing every day, skiing as a way of life, skiing as a form of escape from a world that no longer feels like ours,” adds Andrea Trucco.
“For this new project, we chose to rely on Redelk, a trusted partner in technical clothing. Redelk means high quality and professionalism, and they’ve supported us for many seasons now.”
With this premise, the group presented the project to Redelk, who embraced the initiative:
“We’ll do our best to support them, providing all the technical apparel they need for their wild filming sessions!” says Ilaria Plati, Marketing Specialist at Redelk Outdoor.
