1 – Can you tell us about your project?
Vette e Baite is a social cooperative born from the meeting of environmental hiking guides, with the idea of combining walking with cultural and social experiences that enhance mountain territories. We organize hikes, trips, and activities that promote sustainability, inclusion, and connection with nature. Among our formats there are social initiatives such as Escursione Sospesa, which makes outdoor activities accessible to people in vulnerable situations, and cultural programs such as Ora d’Aria, which weave together mountains, music, books, and meetings. Our goal is to build communities around mountain values and a more human and conscious form of tourism.

2 – What is your main mission?
Our mission is to promote a way of experiencing the mountains that is respectful, inclusive, and cultural. We believe that walking is not only a sporting activity, but also a tool to rediscover territories, create authentic bonds between people, and spread values of sustainability and awareness.

3 – How did you get to know RedElk and what led you to collaborate?
We got to know RedElk through our growth journey as an outdoor organization. We were impressed by their practical, family-like approach, close to the needs of those who live the mountains. The collaboration was born from the desire to have by our side a brand that shares our values and vision, supporting us not only with technical products but also with trust and presence.

4 – How helpful is RedElk to your project and in what ways does it support your activities?
RedElk supports us by providing technical clothing that makes our activities safer and more comfortable, both for the guides and for participants. This allows us to face different weather conditions with peace of mind, while always maintaining a high standard of professionalism and care for those who walk with us.

6 – How important is comfort for you and for the people who take part in your initiatives?
Comfort is essential: it allows people to fully enjoy the experience without distractions, fears, or unnecessary difficulties. Good equipment means safety, well-being, and the possibility to focus on what really matters: experiencing nature and sharing moments with others.

7 – What value does the familiar and genuine approach that RedElk maintains with its partners have for you?
For us it is an enormous value. Collaborating with a brand that doesn’t just supply materials, but builds relationships in a sincere and human way, makes us feel part of a community. It’s the same spirit with which we work with the people who choose us every day.

8 – Do you have a special memory or episode experienced with RedElk that you would like to share?
One episode we remember with pleasure is our in-person meeting at RedElk’s headquarters: a moment that allowed us to truly feel the authentically “human” dimension of the project. Not only did we recognize the quality and reliability of the products, but above all the value of the people who represent them. It was an important step, because it confirmed that behind the brand there are real relationships made of listening, empathy, and shared values.

9 – What is the most beautiful or meaningful impact you have noticed on people thanks to your activities?
One of the most beautiful impacts is seeing people who, thanks to a hike, regain confidence in themselves or discover a sense of belonging that was missing in their everyday lives. Walking becomes an opportunity for rebirth, openness, and shared growth.

10 – Looking to the future, what new projects or activities would you like to develop?
We are working on new formats that combine hiking, culture, and social inclusion: themed walks focused on historical memory, smart-working experiences in the mountains, and events that weave together sport, music, and sustainability. Our dream is to continue making the mountains a place of accessible and innovative encounters, increasingly open to everyone.
