1 – Can you tell us about your project?

We are a group of highly qualified professionals specialized in the outdoor world, united by the desire to share our passion for the mountains. Five years ago, we founded the Ossolalpine collective with a strong focus on safety. Through courses and guided excursions, every experience becomes an opportunity to explore, learn, and consciously experience activities such as trekking, mountaineering, climbing, and ski mountaineering. We accompany people in discovering Alpine landscapes—and beyond—offering memorable experiences and concrete skills to face them at their best.

2 – What is your main mission?

Our mission is to introduce people to Nature in all its details and entirety through outdoor experiences such as trekking, mountaineering, climbing, ski mountaineering, snowshoeing, and via ferratas. We operate mainly in the Italian Alps, but we bring our vision and expertise to other mountain ranges around the world as well.

3 – How did you get to know RedElk and what led you to collaborate?

The first contact with RedElk, and in particular with Luca Colombo, happened through the internet. We later met in person, and a wonderful collaboration was born between the RedElk team and Ossolalpine. A relationship built on mutual trust that has successfully continued for over four years.

4 – How helpful is RedElk to your project and in what ways does it support your activities?

The collaboration with RedElk is substantial. Their constantly cutting-edge materials make numerous initiatives possible, both operational and promotional. Having a recognizable “uniform” strengthens our identity during activities, and comfort—an essential element during long days outdoors—represents a concrete added value.

5 – Which values do you feel you share with RedElk?

We share respect and love for nature, and for the mountains in particular. We are united by attention to elegance and simplicity in garments, combined with the search for specific and high-performance materials. We also appreciate their commitment to mountain preservation and the fact that our professional feedback is listened to and valued in the continuous improvement of products.

6 – How important is comfort for you and for the people who take part in your initiatives?

If we had to give it a score from 1 to 100, comfort in outdoor activities would count at least 80%, and even more for professionals who operate in the field every day. Comfort is not a detail, but an essential condition for working safely and effectively.

7 – What value does the familiar and genuine approach that RedElk maintains with its partners have for you?

RedElk’s familiar and genuine approach is a distinctive element for us. Direct dialogue, availability, and shared goals create a solid foundation on which to build long-lasting projects.

8 – Do you have a special memory or episode experienced with RedElk that you would like to share?

Over the years, there have been many meaningful moments. One in particular was reaching Capanna Regina Margherita with a rope team fully equipped by RedElk: an intense and symbolic experience that left an indelible memory. Every outing and shared project has strengthened the trust and friendship between our teams.

9 – What is the most beautiful or meaningful impact you have noticed on people thanks to your activities?

Seeing participants follow our advice and wear RedElk during hikes and climbs is a great satisfaction. It means that the trust built in the field translates into conscious choices and a safer, more comfortable outdoor experience.

10 – Looking to the future, what new projects or activities would you like to develop?

For the future, we are developing extra-European trekking routes on lesser-known trails, new climbing activities, and the youth-focused project “Young Mountaineers Growing Up.” In addition, with “Exploring Europa,” we aim to propose a ski mountaineering initiative designed to help people discover European mountains in true Ossolalpine style: conscious, technical, and safe.
